Meeting Minutes – April 7, 2011

In Attendance: Jenn Pfeifer, President, Cindy Labonte, Vice President, Jenn Becker, Treasurer, Julie Barker, Secretary, Debbie Zarges, Lara Sheehy, Mrs. Klapproth, Mrs. Gauthier, Tom Laliberte

Treasurer’s Report: We had $110 in debits and $15.95 in credits this month.

Board Nominations: Will be held at the next PTA Meeting on Thursday, May 5, 2011.

Tom Laliberte: AYP (Average Yearly Progress) results are in. LES is no longer a school in need of improvement.

Lampron Scholarship: No applicants as of today. Applications are due April 30, 2011.

The next PTA Meeting will be held on Thursday, May 5, 2011 at 6:30 pm.

Meeting Minutes – May 5, 2011

In Attendance: Jenn Pfeifer, President, Julie Barker, Secretary, Tom Laliberte, Mrs. Gauthier, Mrs. Phillips, Mr. Raymond, Mrs. Zarges

Treasurer’s Report: We had $850.00 in debits and $132.50 in credits this month. The debits included $390 for Teacher Appreciation Gift, $194 field trip transportation, $143 1st Grade Field Trip, $100 LES Water bottles and $23 for Easter Baskets. We had one credit in the amount of $132.50 from the Easter Bake Sale.

Teacher Appreciation Breakfast: Due to conflicts in schedules the Teacher Appreciation Breakfast has been changed to Monday, May 10th.

Board Nominations: Due to lack of attendance the Board Nominations need to be postponed to the next PTA meeting on Thursday, June 9th.

Tom Laliberte: Tom made a proposal to the PTA to purchase 5th Grade Planners. This will help the 5th Grade to begin organizing their work. The estimated costs are 75 planners for $3.99 each. The PTA agreed to make this purchase.

The next PTA Meeting will be held on Thursday, June 9 at 6:30 pm.
